Daybook March 26, 2011

Outside my window... a cold but sunny day.

I am thinking... "I am not capable of doing big things, but I want to do everything, even the smallest things, for the greater glory of God." ~ Saint Dominic Savio

I am thankful for... Chris. He understands that a day away at a Catholic homeschool conference is made even more special when it becomes an over night trip shared with other homeschooling moms.

From the kitchen... chili and corn bread.

I am wearing... navy blue pants, white t-shirt, pink fleece jacket, and sneakers.

I am creating... a new schedule for the spring. I am still knitting dishcloths.

I am reading... The Everlasting Man still. It is good, but I am taking my time with it. I am also reading The Knitter's Book of Yarn, written by Clara Parkes. It is full of wonderful information.

I am praying for... my mom and Ron. May they find comfort and peace during this time of loss.

I am hearing... Chris talking to the boys about exercising. Sponge Bob is on in the background.

Around the house... lists of projects that have not been started.

One of my favorite things... an early morning walk.

A few plans for the upcoming week... Mass, soccer practices and a game, bible study, homeschool day at the skating rink, my oldest son's Confirmation. A busy and blessed week.

A picture I am sharing...

  1. Wow! That statue is incredible! We have a shrine by us honoring Our Lady of Czeskowva (sp) with a bigger-than-life statue of Pope John Paul II. This picture reminded me of that.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :) I am enjoying yours, too!
