Yarn Along

Linking up again with Ginny at Small Things for Yarn Along.

I am knitting a ribbed scarf in a chunky wool blend yarn in a gray-green color. I am ready to move on from scarves especially now that the weather is warming up. Yesterday I purchased new needles and some 100 percent cotton yarn, and I will soon be moving on to knitting dishcloths. I know dishcloths are no more exciting than scarves, but I feel like I need to get a little more experience before I move on to more challenging project.

I am still reading The Everlasting Man that I mentioned last week, so I decided to include my bible study in my picture today. It is Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring The Fruit of the Spirit. I have been working my way through it for several months now, and I  like it.  I get together with two friends every other Wednesday to discuss a new week. Today we met to discuss goodness, and we had a wonderful time.

  1. Dishcloths really are a wonderful next step. It challenges you with different stitch combinations and is small enough to finish quickly giving instant gratification. Not to mention they make great gifts. Everyone needs them!
I've done many of Beth's studies myself and they are wonderful. Are you using the dvd? She's a hoot!

  2. Thanks so much for the encouragement! The dvd I have is The Complete Beginner's Guide to Knitting by Nici McNally. It is informative, but it is not funny. I am interested in the dvd by Beth especially if it is entertaining!

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave a friendly comment! :-)
