Daybook April 2, 2011

For today... Holden was confirmed earlier today. He is sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. May he always walk with Jesus.

Outside my window... the sun is low, and the sky is turning purple and pink. Absolutely beautiful!

I am thinking... "Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love."

I am thankful for... Holden, family, and a faithful church community.

From the kitchen... a small dinner of eggs and toast. There was a lot of snacking at the reception after Confirmation.

I am wearing... sweatpants and a t-shirt.

I am creating... a purse. I am knitting it. I am not very far, but it looks good!

I am reading... Bless Me, Father, For I Have Kids by Susie Lloyd.

I am praying... for several different friends for many different reasons, and for a personal intention.

I am hearing... the dryer and nothing else. Chris is at work. Holden is with a friend. Thomas is with my mother, and Ralph is already asleep.

Around the house... regular cleaning on the inside, but there is a bunch of yard work happening outside this week. Chris picked up mulch and topsoil. That will keep us busy for a day or two.

One of my favorite things... my knitting. That is what I am going to do this evening with my free time.

A few plans for the upcoming week... Mass, soccer practice and a game, my birthday, and the Catholic Women's Association meeting.

A picture I am sharing...
