Daybook for the last days of September

Outside my window... gray sky and a lingering haze.

I am thinking... about friendship and effort and attention.

I am thankful for... my husband and our children.

From the kitchen... Chris has requested cheeseburgers, fries, and baked beans. I will add broccoli to round out the meal.

I am wearing... black shorts and a purple top.

I am creating... knitting a panel for a bag. A couple weeks ago, I knitted a large bag with wool and then felted it. Now I am using the wool I have left over to knit a smaller bag. I hope to post pictures of the bag and other finished knitting projects soon.

I am reading... Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell on my Kindle app on my phone.

I am praying for... many personal intentions.

I am hearing... the washing machine empty.

Around the house... laundry, sweeping, and menu planning.

One of my favorite things... hot coffee in the morning.

A few plans for the rest of the week... a child's well visit, soccer practice, maybe a bible study gathering to finally finish Esther, and two soccer games on Saturday.

A picture I am sharing... "You know what your hair needs, cousin? Some sand! I can help you with that."
