Yarn Along ~ In the round

Joining Ginny for Yarn Along this week.

After finishing the scarf from last week, I decided that I needed to learn to knit in the round.

So I picked out a pattern for a hat in one of Debbie Stoller's books and checked out a couple videos at knittinghelp.com again. I was very nervous using the double pointed needles for about the first ten rounds, but I soon fell into a good rhythm. I will finish the hat tonight, and then I will cast on mittens in the same yarn.

Yesterday, a friend gave me an older copy of The Shop on Blossom Street, written by Debbie Macomber. I started reading it last night while I waited for sleep to come, and I managed to make it through the first five chapters before falling asleep. So far, it is a light and easy read.

Please visit Ginny and the other talented ladies that link up with Yarn Along.
