Craft completed: double stranded bracelet and wire wrapped ring

The first time I saw the Blue Laguna Lace Agate melon beads, I knew I wanted to make a bracelet with them. I loved the blue and gray color combination and wanted to play up the blue. I bought several sizes and shades of blue Swarovski Elements Bicone crystal beads hoping they would be the perfect compliment to the beautiful natural stone.

I tried several combinations of the stone and crystal beads together on the same strand, but I felt that the beads were competing for attention. Finally, I decided to string them separately, using small silvertone beads on both strands to give them a similar look.  I made the crystal bead strand a little shorter so the strands would lay stacked on my wrist instead of overlapping each other. Then I attached both strands together and finished the bracelet with a lobster clasp.

The ring is a large Swarovski Elements Cosmic crystal bead wrapped with
Beadalon silver plated German style wire. This wrapped ring was my first ring project.

I am very happy with my new bracelet and ring!
