Craft completed: my mother's bracelet

Holden and Thomas have June birthdays, and Ralph's birthday is in July. The traditional birthstone for the month of June is the pearl, and the ruby is the birthstone for July. Many styles of birthstone jewelry do not use pearls for the month of June. Instead, they replace it with a light amethyst stone. As much as I love purple, I knew I wanted to stick with pearls to represent my June boys. After several unsatisfactory attempts to create a bracelet that mixed pearls,  ruby colored crystal, and silver accent beads, I decided to make the entire bracelet with pearls and small crystal accents.

All of the pearls are Swarovski Elements Crystal Pearls. These crystal pearls have a beautiful luster and warm to your skin like natural pearls thanks to their crystal core. They make a great everyday pearl because they resist scratches, ultraviolet rays, perfumes, and perspiration.

For this bracelet, I used six 10mm crystal pearls in grey for the main color, two 12mm crystal pearls in white for the June birthstone, and one 12mm crystal pearl in coral red in place of July's ruby birthstone. I used five 8mm silver plated crystal roundel beads to separate the birthstone pearls. I finished the bracelet off with a toggle clasp that has Swarovski Elements Crystal accents.

I am very happy with my mother's bracelet.
