Yarn Along

I have been knitting dishcloths. My old dishcloths are well loved and need to be replaced. Plus, I have had a request for them from a friend.

Most of the dishcloths I have knit recently have plain garter stitch and broken rib stitch, but yesterday I cast on and finished the Leafy Washcloth. It was super easy and fun to knit. You can knit it up in either garter or stockinette stitch. I knit mine in garter stitch. I enjoyed knitting it so much that I cast on another one this morning while drinking my coffee.

As for reading, I am not currently reading anything. I bought Strange Gods: Unmasking the Idols in Everyday Life, written by Elizabeth Scalia, a couple weeks ago. I am going to read it this summer with a couple friends. We plan on discussing it while we are together for our weekly beach trips with the kids. I am looking forward to reading it.
Please visit Ginny and the other talented ladies that link-up for Yarn Along.

  1. I love the leaf-shaped dish cloth. My daughter-in-law has knitted square ones, but I think she'd really like that leafy one. I'm going to send her the link. :)

  2. Come to think of it, she'll probably see the link without me sending it--because she often participates in Yarn Along posts!

  3. I love the leafy dish cloth! I need to make some new too, I'll be checking that pattern out.

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave a friendly comment! :-)
