Yarn and Garden

As I was finishing the morning dishes, I thought that maybe I should blog today. This week I have been busy doing productive things like cleaning closets and organizing our schoolroom. I have also spent my time not so wisely knitting and watching Dance Moms (oh the drama). Normally, I stay away from reality TV, but I absolutely love dance shows!

Anyway, I am kind of at a loss for truly interesting content, so I decided to bore most of you and excite a few of you with a knitting and garden update.

I am currently knitting the Sweet Pea Baby Blanket with yarn from my stash. I had a colorful assortment of Lion Brand Wool-Ease left over from the Dr. Who Season 16 inspired scarf  that I knit for my father-in-law as well as some gray that never made it into the scarf. I am knitting this blanket for myself, so it is not actually for a baby.

As for the garden, I am still harvesting Swiss chard, cherry tomatoes, and peppers. They all make me very happy!

Now I am off to spend time with my family! Enjoy your weekend!

  1. Beautiful knitting the colours are so lovely.
    Your veg looks delicious too!

  2. Every year I say I'm going to plant a garden, and I don't. But it would be heavenly to have salad makings growing in our back yard, and I'm inspired now by your beautiful veggies. Thanks for the inspiration.

    1. Ha! Every year I say I am not going to plant a garden, and then at the last minute the thought of not having fresh veggies sends me to the store to by plants!

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave a friendly comment! :-)
