Craft completed: jewelry for friends and family

I have made several pieces of jewelry in the last couple of months. I made a birds nest pendant for my friend, Julie, with silver plated wire, two rose quartz beads to represent her daughters, and two Swarovski crystal pearls to represent her sons.

Then I made a silver plated bird's nest for my sister-in-law, Heather, with a rose quartz bead. She will give birth to her first child, a girl, very soon. I placed her bird's nest pendant along with a sterling silver bird charm on a sterling silver chain.

Finally, I made a collection of jewelry for my friend, Renee, for her birthday. Last year, most of her jewelry was stolen from her home. I made Renee a bracelet, two pairs of earrings, and a bird's nest necklace. I made all of her pieces of jewelry with silver plated components and Swarovski Crystal Elements. I made her bracelet similar to this one. At the center of the bracelet are three colored pearls to represent her children's birthday months. I separated the three pearls with Swarovski Faceted Roundelle Crystal. The roundelles have an iridescent AB finish that reflects light and picks up colors. My camera flash reflected off of the finish and made the crystal appear yellow, so the picture is not an accurate image of the bracelet. Her bird's nest necklace has three silver pearls to represent her three children. I made the earrings with similar components to those that I used to make the bracelet and necklace.
