Yarn Along 2014 {seven}

and Garden Trellis Dress found in Sock Yarn One-Skein Wonders: 101 Patterns That Go Way Beyond Socks!

This week I cast on the Garden Trellis Dress.
I am not knitting it exactly as the pattern states because I want it to be an easy and fast project. I am leaving out the diamond eyelets.

I am knitting it with yarn from my stash, Premier Yarns Deborah Norville Collection Serenity Garden Yarn: Sea.
I only knit twelve more rows on my Cabled Tunic this week.

As for my reading, I am still reading Orthodoxy, but very slowly. I am participating in Conversion Diary's 7 posts in 7 days this week, so I have spent more time writing than reading. Well, I am trying to keep up with my favorite blogs because they are participating, too.

Stop by tomorrow to read about my opinions on children playing video games.

  1. Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment about my shawl! Your knits are really pretty! I love your yarn selections! :-) I noticed that you recently read "The Little White Horse." How did you like it?

  2. Hi Sarah! Thank you! I have not finished The Little White Horse yet. I am half way through it (I am reading three different books). I like it, so far. The book is happier than the movie, which I appreciate. Unless, it takes a strange turn towards the end, I will read it aloud to my younger boys.

  3. Thanks for the info. It's on my "to-read" list, but I can't remember where I first heard about it! I am wondering if my 11yo could read it ... It's always a challenge to find good books for her these days!
