Yarn Along {nine}

Knitting: A little dress. I am writing it down as I go. If  it turns out, and I hope it does, I will post the pattern here on the blog.

ReadingBeautiful Babies: Nutrition for Fertility, Pregnancy, Breast-feeding, and Baby's First Foods

 Do you see the sunshine on my knitting in the picture? That sunshine on my yarn makes me happy. The weather is warming up, and I am very ready to get outside to work on my garden. I cannot wait for fresh lettuce and herbs! I started knitting this little dress a couple days ago. I have an idea of what I want it to look like when I am finished knitting, and I want it to be a 12 month or 18 month size. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I bought Beautiful Babies, written by Kristen Michealis, two weeks ago. First, I sped read through the book. Now that I am on my second reading of it, I am taking my time. For the record, I am not pregnant nor do I have a baby. However, I am always praying and hoping for more children. Fertility diet books are a weakness of mine. I have read so many of them through the years. The information in this book is not new. The author is an advocate of a diet rich with real, whole, natural foods, but she is not preachy about it. Her voice remains positive through the book, and I liked that. I am glad that I bought Beautiful Babies.

  1. Hmmm, might have to keep this title in the back of my mind for when we're ready to get pregnant.
