Catholic Writer's Award

Laura, blogger at String of Pearls and author of Finding Grace, nominated me for a Catholic Writer's Award. I am honored, truly, I am. I am grateful that I met Laura through blogging. She writes about family life with five grown sons and her sweet husband. I read her book, Finding Grace, last year and enjoyed it very much. Laura's intended audience for Finding Grace are teenagers, but women and men of all ages can appreciate the story of young love, deep faith, and strong family values woven through the book. Thank you, Laura, for the nomination and the kind words you wrote about me.

The Catholic Writer's Award was created by Melanie Jean Juneau. You can read the original post about the award here

Now I will share my nominations with you.
Amelia of One Catholic Mama. Amelia writes about her life as a Catholic homeschooling mother to four children. She also writes about attachment parenting, breastfeeding, and healthy diets. Sometimes she writes about body image, and her post How Posting What I Wore Each Sunday Healed Me is excellent. She shares her opinion with a kind confidence that I find inspiring.

Rakhi of The Pitter Patter Diaries. Rakhi writes about the beauty of the Catholic faith, her family, and ministry. She is a wife and mother of two small children. I'm Sensitive, And I'd Like To Stay That Way is a wonderful article. Everything that Rakhi writes is intelligent and a pleasure to read.

Lea of Mama Takes On The World. I  recently found Lea's blog through a comment she left on my recent post about infertility. I am very thankful that she commented because reading through her archives has been quite an experience for me. Many times I have thought about one of her posts for several days, working through my own thoughts on the topic she wrote about. I love when that happens! Lea is a wife and mother to three small children. A few of the topics she writes about are society, feminism, parenting, and homeschooling. Check out this post, Is Having Three Kids Really That Tough?
