Yarn Along {eleven}

Knitting: Easy Lace Scarf

I wanted an easy project to knit for myself. Something to make me excited to knit again. I started knitting the Easy Lace Scarf Monday night. I only got a few rows of garter stitch done before abandoning it for a book. I knit most of the finished portion of the scarf while watching The Secret of Moonacre on Netflix with Ralph yesterday evening after a long day of swimming. The pattern is very easy to remember as it is only two rows repeated. I love the colors in the yarn.

My Kindle informs me that I have finished reading 54% of Brideshead Revisited. I like it, but I do not love it. Maybe I will by the time I reach the end, but I feel like I am waiting for the point of the story to hit me. Daring Greatly was not on my summer reading list, but it was recommended to me is such a way that I felt I just had to add it. I am glad that I did! I am finishing up chapter three and looking forward to moving forward in the book. The Little Oratory, I believe, is a must read for me, but I am taking it slow. Picking it up here and there as the mood hits me.

  3. I love that lace! Easy patterns that look more complicated than they really are tend to be my favorite types of projects.
