A Week in My Life 2014 {Tuesday}

I am joining Kathryn at Team Whitaker for Week in My Life 2014

I am loving taking pictures throughout our day. And let me tell you, I didn't realize how much we did until I starting taking pictures of everything!

Here are the highlights!

I started my day with a cup of black coffee and read the Blessed is She daily devotion.
Then the boys and I ate a quick breakfast and started their schoolwork. They listened and did their work without complaining. It was a good school day.

There are days when homeschooling is the hardest thing that I do, but I love teaching my boys. I LOVE spending my day with them. I can not imagine doing anything else with my life. Maybe one day I will have a job outside of my home, but not yet.

The boys stayed on task and finished their work early. Then we had a quick lunch of leftover soup.

After lunch, Ralph and Thomas played games while Holden watched them for me. First I went to Kohl's armed with a stack of coupons. I bought Ralph, the boy that is growing too fast, a new MineCraft t-shirt and a sweater. I saved a total of $51! Awesome!

Next I stopped by my mother's house for a 10 minute chat before I headed to my doctor's appointment. She is a public transportation driver, and she had just finished her shift. She looked cute in her uniform.

My doctor's appointment went okay. I have to have a few more tests, but hopefully I will know more in two weeks. After my appointment, I made a quick stop at the grocery store for a few items, drove home, made dinner, cleaned the kitchen, and finally sat down to knit and watch the Voice.

Finally, exhausted, I went to bed. Tuesday was a productive day.

  1. Ah, I love saving money at Kohl's!
    You are lucky to live so close to your mom.
    And you just reminded me I was planning to get some knitting done this evening (I have a Christmas deadline!)... :-)

  2. I want to learn how to knit someday. You will have to recommend a starter book or something for me. I also need to start reading the Blessed Is She devotions everyday, I have been very sporadic about that. Post office was closed today, but I plan to drop your package in the mail tomorrow! Prayers for a positive outcome from all of your testing!
